i'm patrice, a San Diego-based designer who believes in the power of art to inspire and connect.
With over five years of experience in marketing, design, and digital storytelling, I help nonprofits, small businesses, and individuals connect to people in ways that are visually compelling and aligned with their values.
I have always been drawn to the ways in which art conveys our ideas and experiences. Before becoming a designer, I was first a performer. From singing in Patois with my Caribbean family, to delivering my single line in my fifth-grade production of "Hello, Dolly! ", my love for music and theatre has shaped the way I communicate and express myself today.
I find joy in harmonizing elements of color, typography, and illustrative graphics to convey clear and meaningful messages. Whether on a stage, a screen, or a printed page, I am passionate about using design and storytelling to build connection and trust.
When I'm not hopping across endless artboards, I enjoy attending live music performances, savoring a good meal with family and friends, riding my bike to discover new sunbathing spots, and chilling with my buddy, Gozu.
